Modi in Lok Sabha: PM attacks Congress, says individuals outside 'family' don't get acknowledgment

PM Modi discourse in Lok Sabha: Replying in Lok Sabha on Motion of thanks on the President's Address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday brought the pain on the Congress saying the principle Opposition gathering has no association with the majority. "We would prefer not to develop taller like you, however, stay associated with roots; Don't have any desire to disengage with masses," PM Modi said hammering the Congress. 

Conjuring Emergency, PM Modi said that the country's spirit was squashed on June 25, 1975. "A couple of individuals were continually asking during the discussion Who did it? Who did it? I need to ask them today is the 25th June. Who forced the Emergency? Who trampled over the soul of the Constitution, choked the media and tormented the legal executive? He proceeded to assault the Gandhis blaming them for disregarding the commitments of pioneers like PV Narasimha Rao and Manmohan Singh. 

"Individuals outside the family don't get acknowledgement. Did people with great influence from 2004 to 2014 ever talk about the great work of Atal ji? Did they ever talk about the great work of Narasimha Rao Ji? In this Lok Sabha banter similar individuals did not discuss Manmohan Singh Ji," PM Modi said. 

On Monday, talking on the floor of the House, Congress pioneer in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury ridiculed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and contrasted PM Modi with 'gandi naali'. He said that the saffron gathering won general decisions since PM Modi was a 'major sales rep' and the Congress couldn't pick up grounds as it couldn't advertise its items. The Prime Minister was available in the House when Chowdhury made these remarks.
